    Psychoeducational assessment

A psychoeducational assessment is a comprehensive evaluation that examines intellectual functioning, memory, attention, and academic skills to identify both strengths and areas of need. It can clarify learning challenges, such as learning disabilities or cognitive impairments, and provide insight into factors affecting academic performance. Attentional concerns, including ADHD, are also addressed as part of this assessment. The evaluation results in tailored recommendations for strategies, supports, and accommodations for school.

The fee for a psychoeducational assessment is $2,880. Additional testing—such as ASD or mental health assessments— will involve extra costs.

    Preschool Autism Assessment (ages 2-5)

A preschool autism assessment is a comprehensive evaluation to determine whether a child’s development is consistent with Autism Spectrum Disorder and to understand their strengths and needs.

The process typically includes a parent interview about early development, communication, and behaviour, along with play-based observation of the child’s social interaction, communication, and play skills. Standardized tools, such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), may be used to support clinical impressions.

Families receive a report with findings, possible diagnosis, and practical recommendations to support their child’s development.

The fee for a preschool autism assessment is $1,680. If additional testing—such as cognitive or ADHD testing is required, extra costs will apply.

Youth Autism (ASD) ASSESSMENT (ages 6+)

A child and teen autism assessment is a comprehensive evaluation that looks at the youth’s developmental history, current strengths, challenges, and experiences related to social communication and patterns of behavior. The goal is to determine whether autism best explains your child’s profile and to provide clarity, self-understanding, and tailored recommendations for support. This assessment results in a clear “yes or no” answer about whether you meet criteria for ASD.

The fee for an autism-focused assessment is $1,920. If additional testing—such as cognitive, ADHD, or mental health testing—is required, extra costs will apply.
