A psychologist is a licensed mental health professional trained to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges. In Ontario, psychologists hold a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) and are registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. They use evidence-based therapies to support clients in understanding their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Unlike psychiatrists, psychologists do not prescribe medication but focus on talk-based interventions to promote lasting mental wellness.

I am currently accepting referrals for adult therapy and adult assessment. I am also accepting limited referrals for adolescents age 12-17. Services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each age group, using evidence-based approaches in a supportive, client-centered environment. If I am not the right provider for you, I will provide you with some referrals.

All new clients begin with a free 20-minute phone consultation. This brief conversation helps determine whether your presenting concerns are a good fit for my practice.
